APPLICATIONS
1. Blowing
To prepare the site, we set up gateways to about 1 meter above the ground which will move into the attic without treading on wool already blown.

A witness to the appropriate height is set according to the desired thickness (about 30 cm).
Blowing is done starting with the most distant parts by moving gradually towards the exit point. The tip is kept blowing horizontally at a height of 1 m from the floor so-blowing material at a distance of about 1m and his fall from its own weight. The implementation must provide an increased thickness of the insulating layer of 20% to take into account the effect of settling time. The peak flux of material is adjusted on the machine. The airflow is adjusted to the amount needed to put in motion in the pipe.
For floors where the insulation is in contact with air in motion (if broken or filled with ventilation openings at the bottom), the surface of the insulation must be sprayed in a mist of water starting from the far side, along with a delay of 1 to 2 meters the establishment of the insulating layer to give, after drying, crusting limiting the movement of the insulation. It is recommended not to walk on the blown insulation, even crusty.

2. Insufflations
Insufflations piped

We need necessary to use caissons to insufflate the ecowool. The vapour barrier and closing the box is drilled in the centre of the upper part of each box, so that the pipe blowing down to about 20 cm from the bottom of the cavity. The filling is carried upward respecting density.
The compaction of product get pushing the pipe inside the box to avoid settling later. Filling occurs gradually going up the pipe, the box is full when the product is no longer flowing in the pipe and the engine of the blower disconnected. Complete filling is done when the product goes beyond making vent holes made earlier. We carefully fill in holes tightly.
Caution: do not wait stop material flow to remove the filler neck. It is necessary to ensure that the airflow is constant and sufficient during insufflation. If necessary, it is recommended to decrease the flow field.

Insufflation by vacuum nozzle.
Holes are drilled with a hole saw appropriate approximately 15 cm from the top of the box, and the centre of it. Cuts obtained are stored.

Attach the nozzle to the entrance hole through a ring stretch to seal. We check that the nozzle does well rotate 360 °, and one fixes the vacuum bag to collect air and dust.
After setting the machine in pressure and flow, fill the box with a density determined in advance by the precise adjustments to the machine. The upper corners and upper chamber are filled through the rotation of the nozzle. Complete filling is achieved during the slowdown, then the clutch motor of the machine.
The operation is repeated the next hole. After blowing the complete wall openings will be completed manually to fill the missing part by the presence of the nozzle, the holes will be plugged in order to achieve a perfect sealing of the wall.
Should ensure that all boxes are filled and to conduct a review of minimum density per site.

The choice to install with or without nozzle, depending on the size of the boxes: they are very long and access is via an end, the pipe alone is preferable, it is the same whether Barriers pedestals (ducts, brackets, rails, ...), because it sets the hose at the bottom of the bay prior to phasing.
The nozzle can go higher density which prevents settling in very large boxes (30 x 80 x 300 cm for example), work is cleaner (dust collection through the open air nozzle ). The nozzle also satisfied best small boxes (especially if they are close) is the preferred method for its regularity in the control of density
3. Wet spraying

The technical wet spraying requires also the preparation of caissons. It is necessary to add water to the product in sufficient quantity to activate the natural binder of cellulose. Adjustment of the machine ensures uniform wetting of the product. The projector head is maintained at approximately 80 cm from the wall. The projection is done with an angle of 10 to 45 ° directed towards the wall (angle increases with the thickness of the insulating layer to form).
The application is made movements back and forth regularly, layer upon layer so that the space is filled and evenly from bottom to top.
At about 30 cm high, the projector head is directed upwards, so as to fill the upper corners. The rest is then filled by a horizontal jet. Following the screening, the excess product is scraped using a roller brush rotation. This roller is affixed to the top and uses the amounts as guides to descend. The applicator shall ensure that all gaps are closed. Before putting up the vapour barrier, observe a drying time for the cellulose wadding or dry heart. It should check the moisture of the cotton through a meter.
