A WOODEN FACTORY- LOW ENERGY CONSUMPTION
A wooden building - LOW ENERGY CONSUMPTION
The goal is to build an industrial ecological factory that will produce ecowool (cell ulose wadding). This new construction in wood will be insulated with our ecological cell "Ouateco. This project is supported by the Landes General Council and Regional Council of Aquitaine

This construction is environmentally friendly and involves players in the timber industry in our region, Landes Pays Basque. An HQE step will be led by our architect firm located in Anglet on the implementation and organization of construction and thermal performance. It is an approach pioneered in France and we are ready to help future project leaders to achieve their green building.
The building will be constructed with laminated wood structure, industrial wood cabinet with vapor barrier and rain barrier integrated insulation cellulose wadding and wood siding.

It is south facing roof monopente to allow the installation of a solar roof over 2200m ².
Particular attention was paid to the performance of walls, both at the walls as the roof. A thermal study conducted by research firm "écohabitat Council" in Anglet, has identified needs and to model areas of cold or overheating (software "and Comfie Pleiades").
The manufacturing unit of cellulose requires to construct a building of about 2100m ². Spaces will be allocated as indicated below:
Surface of 1000m ² for two manufacturing units (30m x 33m x between 10 and 12 meters high.
Surface of 1000m ² for parts storage of raw product.
An office space is planned, with a rest area and a training room for applicators craftsmen. Total approximately 220m ².
This unit does not rejected any product and does not require specific installation (dry process, no treatment or pollution of groundwater). A power of 420kw is provided with special emphasis on low-consumption lighting.
The landscaped area around our building is also a bias to maintain endemic nature of Landes: cedar, gorse, bushes and massive pines. The nature of the forest Landais requires no irrigation and little maintenance.
